A Girl's Cantonment
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Ada Hartford was traveling overseas in New York. During her absence, her brother Nicholas and his wife Edith died in a carriage accident. Since the crossing from America to England takes a few months, the child was temporarily send to a catholic orphanage. After her return home, Ada begins to search for her niece. But when Ada arrives at the orphanage, it is abandoned. Determined to find her niece or at least indications of her whereabouts, Ada nevertheless enters the orphanage. To her right is a door that says "Office". There she is hoping to find a file that will tell her what happened to her niece.
A Girl's Cantonment is a thriller/horror and puzzle game we made as an assignment for university. It was build in Unity.

Install instructions
You need to open the Dropbox link and download it from there, the Download button here won´t work cause its just an external file. On the Dropbox site you just need to press the three dots on the right and then press the appearing download button.
This is all because the Build is over 1GB and the Dropbox integration of itch.io didn´t work.

This game does not open on a Mac, except with a Windows installation on it. Maybe it runs with Wine on older machines.
Yeah sorry I miss understood the Build Window from Unity. I uploaded a Mac version.

Obviously the game does not run "damaged ..." I've tested it with two machines running OS 11.5.2 and 10.11.6
If You like, I'd test further builds, I've got three machines with different OS available.

I can't download it!
Did you use the Dropbox link? Because the Download Button won't work...
It opens the dropbox link...and I choose direct download..and it downloads the file but then it stops..
